Fall 2017 Wednesday Morning Lab Syllabus in PDF

The only textbook required for this class is Soluri and Agarwal's Laboratory Manual and Workbook for Biological Anthropology (First Edition, 2016). You may purchase spiral bound or loose leaf versions. There is also an ebook, but you will need to print the readings and lab for each week and bring them to class, so don't choose this unless you are OK with a lot of printing. The printed version is not a true image of the pages of the book (it is not "pretty") but it works in a pinch.

We begin using this book in Week 1, so bring it to class the first day.

Biological Anthropology Lab Web Links--a couple of sites useful for studying the bones.

Penn State University Web Page on the Skeleton

Hendrik Jan van Meerveld's Bone Quiz Web Page (you have to look around a little to find the best parts of this site [note it has no official name!], but it has nice highlighted quiz sections, lists of bone names, and some study tips)
